Microsoft Office App combines multiple apps in one
Microsoft recently released a new Office application that combines Word, Excel, and PowerPoint into one application. The new Office applications require much less storage space than using three separate applications independently. According to reports, Microsoft’s new Office application is compatible with dual-screen functionality in a couple of LG phones. For now, it supports LG V50 ThinQ, LG G8X ThinQ, as well as LG V60 ThinQ. With this support, you can open an Excel file in one screen and continue browsing with the file on the other screen. Alternatively, you can open two Word documents side by side for comparison.
Last month, Microsoft announced that the Surface Duo SDK Preview for developers is fully available. With the Surface Duo SDK Preview, developers will be able to develop new dual-screen application experiences on the Android platform.
