Oppo has just confirmed something that isn’t a secret for anyone. The upcoming Oppo Find X2 will be accompanied by an Oppo Find X2 Pro variant. However, details about this latter unit were scarce until now. Thankfully, the company’s VP, Brian Shen, decided to finally share some tidbits about the high-end unit.
According to the executive, the Find X2 Pro will offer “extra image quality”, suggesting a different, better camera setup. Moreover, he states that the non-Pro will use a new Sony IMX sensor that already offers improvements to the image quality over previous generation phones. Also, the Oppo Find X2 will have a smaller camera hump and the phone will be thinner than the Pro variant. The extra bulk probably is a justified price that the Oppo Find X2 Pro has to pay for the more advanced hardware.
