Last year, Google introduced the first-ever mid-range Pixel smartphone in the form of the Pixel 3A. It was an instant success for the company (at least in the US) selling more than the regular Pixel 3 series, thanks to its price. And hence, its successor, possibly called Pixel 4A has been a highly anticipated mid-range smartphone of 2020 in the tech community. This handset has been leaked multiple times but the latest leak is different from others. That’s because this is the first time we are seeing much better quality live images of the phone. These images were first shared on Reddit which then made their way to Twitter.

Gizchina News of the week
These new live images of the alleged Pixel 4A showcases the phone with the official fabric case in grey colour, whereas the device is black in colour with a white coloured power key. The images also confirm the punch-hole display on the phone, which was first revealed by OnLeaks via his 3D CAD renders. Although the new leak does not mention anything about the display type, it is expected to be an AMOLED panel like any other previous Pixels.
On the back, we can see the return of the fingerprint sensor, which is absent on the Pixel 4 series. Sadly, the device will still come with a single camera similar to last year’s Pixel 3A but on a square bump like its siblings. Additionally, we might also see the return of 3.5mm headphone going by the cutout on the top portion of the case.
The Pixel 4A was expected to be released at Google I/O 2020 but now since the physical show is cancelled due to COVID-19, the release of the phone is uncertain at the moment as Google is yet to reveal plans regarding online I/O 2020.
