Back in the end of February, we got a quick glimpse in a couple of sketches that revealed Apple Powerbeats 4 earbuds. Today, the first set of press renders are revealing the new wireless hearables. Thanks to the renders we can have a much clearer look at their design and colorways.
The fourth iteration in the Powerbeats lineup looks identical to last year’s Powerbeats Pro but with a physical wire connecting the two earbuds. The right one features a volume rocker while the left one serves as a house for the power/voice assistant button. Rumors indicate that the new version will bring Apple’s H1 sound chip. Moreover, it promises up to a 15-hour battery life and an improved more durable design. Another new feature will be the faster-charging speeds which will bring 60 minutes of playback time from a 5-minute charge. Interestingly enough, some speculation points out that Apple will introduce a USB-C connector for the new hearables.
Gizchina News of the week
Apple Powerbeats 4 will come in white, black and red colors. Unfortunately, there’s still no word on pricing. However, the Powerbeats retailed for $200 so we may expect the price tag of the newer ones to be similar. Apple is yet to reveal a launch window for this new product, but we expect to know more in the coming months.
