Motorola fans have been waiting a long time for a proper flagship. The wait is almost meeting its end since the company is gearing up to launch a true flagship phone in the form of Motorola Edge+. Back in the last week, a couple of renders surfaced online showing the phone and its triple camera array. According to reports from @TechDroider, this will be the company’s first smartphone to pack a 108MP camera setup.
The tipster describes the triple-camera array with 108MP+16MP+8MP sensors. Perhaps it’s an 8MP telephoto unit and a 16MP ultrawide snapper. We can find a similar setup on the Moto One Zoom. We wouldn’t be surprised if the Edge+ follows a similar pattern. The 108MP sensor probably is a Samsung module. However, it’s unclear if it will be the Tetracell version that Xiaomi uses or the Nonacell one. The latter seems unlikely as it may be exclusive to the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
