Redmi Note 9 Pro will arrive with four cameras, 5,020 mAh battery and much more

This week we have an appointment with Xiaomi, in which the brand will present to the world the new Redmi 9 series in an online event due to the Coronavirus, which forced the company to suspend the conference of presentation.

Although we could already know some details about this new series a few days ago, a recent leak coming from the renowned Indian-origin leaker Ishan Agarwal, now allows us to know the technical specifications of the new Redmi Note 9 Pro, one of the most leading models of this new series that will be presented next March 12.

If we pay attention to the leaks that have been emerging so far, everything indicates that the Redmi 9 family will be the most numerous in the history of these devices, and will be formed by at least three different models. Of all of them, the Redmi Note 9 Pro would be in charge of leading the series with the most advanced specifications.

According to the data shared by the aforementioned leaker, the Redmi Note 9 Pro would arrive with a large 6.67-inch screen with Full HD + resolution and LCD technology, covered by a Gorilla Glass 5. There is also the possibility that the panel could include a refresh rate of 90Hz, although other sources suggest that Redmi will keep the classic 60Hz in its new models for the mid-range.

Regarding the camera compartment, the phone is expected to arrive with four camera sensors including the main 48MP, 8MP Ultra-Wide, 5MP Macro & Depth Camera sensors. While the hole in the screen should house the 16MP front camera.

Under the hood of the device, we would find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G platform, one of the most powerful SoC of Qualcomm focused on the mid-premium range, and this time equipped with 4 or 6 GB of RAM, in addition to 64 or 128 GB of storage and a large battery of 5,020 mAh capacity with fast charging of 18W. If this information came true, the Redmi Note 9 Pro would be the model with the largest battery ever included in a Redmi Note series model.

Finally, there are three different colors for the new model: “Aurora Blue”, “Interstellar Black” and “Glacier White”, in addition to the inclusion of a side fingerprint reader located on one of the sides of the phone.

At the moment, this is all we know about the new Redmi Note 9 Pro, the model of which more information has transcended all the devices of the Redmi 9 series. It could compete with the Realme 6 Pro presented a few days ago for the best mid-ranger in the first half of 2020.
