OnePlus Technology CEO and founder, Liu Zuohu, revealed tonight on Weibo that OnePlus 8 / Pro will support 5G networks. Liu Zuohu said on Weibo: “In fact, the OnePlus 7 Pro global version was the world’s first commercial 5G mobile phone last year. There is no doubt that the next generation of new products will come with 5G as standard”. This confirms that the upcoming OnePlus 8 series will support 5G network.

According to previous reports, OnePlus 8 will use a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with an on-screen fingerprint sensor. This phone has three versions: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB, all of which are UFS 3.0 storage. According to reports, this smartphone will use a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor. The other two sensors are 16MP and 2MP. This device comes with a built-in 4000 mAh battery and supports Warp Charge 30T charging technology.

As for the Pro model, it will have a slightly larger 6.65-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It uses a Snapdragon 865 SoC and an Adreno 650 GPU. There will be four cameras and an additional ToF sensor. The 4500 mAh battery supports 10V 5A ultra-fast charging.
In addition, there is a OnePlus 8 Lite which will use a middle punch-hole screen. The display may be a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This smartphone should come with a MediaTek processor, perhaps Teana 1000. As for the camera, this smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup. According to speculations, it uses a 48MP main sensor while the other two are 16MP and 12MP cameras.
