Samsung Galaxy M21 launch date confirmed

Galaxy M21

Back in the last week reports emerged suggesting the launch of Samsung Galaxy M21 on March 16 in India. Now, the launch is officially confirmed since the company set up a promotional page on Amazon.in, confirming the March 16 launch date.

Interestingly enough, the landing page includes the Galaxy M21’s images, which reveal its design. We’re going to see another of Samsung’s Infinity-U smartphones with the square-ish camera module. Moreover, the page confirms a few of the specifications which include a 48MP triple camera, 20MP selfie snapper, and a massive 6,000mAh battery. The handset’s display is a Super AMOLED, and rumors suggest it will have a 6.4-inch diagonal.

Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t divulged what chipset will be inside of the M21. However, a GeekBench listing suggests that the mid-range device will boast Exynos 9611 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Rumors also suggest a 6GB RAM version. We expect 64GB and 128GB storage variants with microSD support. It will run Android 10 OS and OneUI 2.0 straight out the box.

The Galaxy M21 has a design that clearly takes inspiration from the Galaxy M31. Down the deep blue color scheme, the notch, and the shape of the fingerprint sensor. Apart from the already confirmed 48MP camera, there are two additional sensors in the vertical array.

There are no details about pricing, but customers can already subscribe to a notification when the phone launches. With the launch scheduled for the next week, we’ll don’t have to wait much longer to know all the details about this new mid-range contender.
