Motorola Moto Z4 hit the market in June 2019. About a year down the line, this smartphone is now getting the Android 10 update. Many users consider this update as long overdue but it is better late than never. The Android 10 update for Motorola Moto Z4 comes with model number QPF30.130-15-7M. This update also includes the January 2020 security patch. Amongst other features, this update brings the system-wide dark theme, better navigation control, etc.
Motorola Moto Z4 comes with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Unfortunately, there are reports that this will be the last major update for the Moto Z4. This means that this device will not be getting the Android 11 system.
Gizchina News of the week
Motorola Moto Z4 is scaled down in brute power, with its SoC Snapdragon 675 SoC accompanied by 4-6 GB of RAM and 64-128 GB of storage space, but has an increase in battery capacity that rises to 3,632 mAh. This, together with the less energy-intensive processor, should guarantee better autonomy than its brother. The screen is the same as the Z4 Force (with integrated fingerprint sensor) with the same 48MP main camera and the one for selfies also.
This smartphone comes with a 25MP front camera. Thus, it offers a good resolution selfie camera. The Quad Pixel mode gives you incredibly sharp 6 MP selfies in low light. Plus, use selfie portrait mode for an artistic blur effect in the background, and control touch-ups with AI-based beautification. Generally, the Moto Z4 camera is not bad. In good light, the colors are accurate and bright, and the exposure is spot-on, especially when using HDR.
The Moto Z4 and the 5G Moto Mod make this device one of the most affordable 5G phone at the time it was released. Obviously not presently. However, early reviews say that the phone’s in-screen fingerprint reader rarely works on the first attempt. Furthermore, Moto Mods don’t fit smoothly with the curved edges of the Z4.
