However, specs are still unavailable on the Chinese authority. These phones are slated to go official on March 26. Although, everything can change amidst COVID-19 pandemic. Today, the Huawei P40 Pro surfaced on the GeekBench database with key specs.
The Huawei ELS-NX9 is the codename used for the P40 Pro 5G on GeekBench. Apparently, it’s a different country variant of the Huawei P40 Pro. The smartphone achieved a score of 770 points in single-core tests. When it comes to the multi-core tasks, the handset reached 3,182 points.
Gizchina News of the week
The premium smartphone boasts a HiSilicon Kirin chipset that boasts a base frequency of 1.95GHz. Apparently, it is the Kirin 990 5G SoC. It’s the most advanced Huawei chipset to the date, so it makes perfect sense. The same SoC fueled the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Thanks to an integrated 5G modem, the smartphone ensures seamless connectivity to the latest network standard.
GeekBench listing further reveals that this variant is running with 8GB of RAM. Moreover, it comes with Android 10 straights out of the box. Of course, it has Huawei’s EMUI 10 running atop with all the features and magazine-like visual elements. As you may expect, the P40 smartphones will lack Google Mobile Services. Instead, they will be powered by Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) which includes the company’s own AppGallery. With just a few weeks before the release, we expect to see more details popping out soon.
