Xiaomi has now added yet another home lifestyle product to its portfolio. This time the company has collaborated with Viomi to launch its all-new Yunmi S2 600G water purifier. It is a successor to the previously launched 400G Flux model. As you might have guessed already, the new water purifier comes with a large 500G flux offering zero wait time for water discharge. The company has added numerous improvements to the new iteration.

Talking about the improvements, the new model now comes with 4+1 filtration method which, as per the brand, offers RO-5 level filtration. In fact, the brand is touting the quality of the water reaches the packaged drinking water standard. The filters are quite easy to replace as well and all you need to do is a twist and pull. The filter can effectively prevent harmful substances such as bacteria, heavy metals and antibiotics from the water.

With the help of this purifier, one can fill a full glass of water in just eight seconds. The predecessor takes around 10 seconds to do the same. Furthermore, there is a blue-light faucet instead of the ordinary one. Since the entire purifier is redesigned and improved, the overall water efficiency has also improved. A family of three will be able to save 1460L (equivalent to 2,920 water bottles) of water every year.

Xiaomi Viomi Yunmi S2 600G water purifier comes with a price tag of 1,999 Yuan (roughly $286). However, the Chinese brand is offering 701 Yuan discount as a part of a promotional offer. This brings the effective price down to 1,298 Yuan (roughly $186).
