Since its first year, HMD’s Nokia has been surprising us with efforts to provide quick Android updates for its smartphones. Unlike most companies who usually put a bigger focus on high-end smartphones, to follow with mid-range phones and in rare cases the low-end phones, HMD has been determining the updates are important for its entire portfolio of smartphones. Based on this philosophy, the company is now rolling out an Android 10 update for the Nokia 2.2.
The low-end smartphone was released in June 2019 with modest specs for low-end customers. The Nokia 2.2 update in question is rolling out in Egypt and bears the V2.300 version number. We expect to see this release rolling out to more markets soon.

You can expect all the goodies introduced by the latest Android version here. The update includes Dark Mode, new gesture navigation, revamped controls for privacy and location and more. Moreover, the new firmware also includes the outdated February 2020 Android security patch. Still better than nothing.
According to a report, the Nokia 2.2 will be the only Nokia smartphone that receives Android 10 this month. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HMD announced a change of plan for the rollout of Android 10. The company will update more smartphones in the coming month and wants to finish Android 10 plans until Q2 2020.
