One of the most anticipated smartphones launching from Xiaomi very soon is the Redmi K30 Pro. While we do know that the Redmi K30 has already been launched, its ‘Pro’ version was has been anticipated since a couple of months. That is finally now is Xiaomi has officially revealed its launch date today on social media channels in China. According to the official posters, Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 Pro will launch on March 24 in China, as was speculated earlier.
There is quite a lot of unofficial stuff regarding the Redmi K30 Pro available right now. However, the launch date is accompanied by an official render of the handset. The teaser reveals that the device will have a circular camera setup at the back with a quad-camera setup, among other things. It is also revealed from an official AnTuTu test that the device will have a Snapdragon 865 processor, which is nothing out of the blue. It will come with LPDDR5 RAM along with UFS 3.1 storage and the unreleased device scored a high 610k points on AnTuTu which is quite impressive, as can be seen in the video.

The device will continue to have a pop-up front camera setup like the Redmi K20 series. Also, there will be a 4700 mAh battery on the device along with a headphone jack and fast-charging support. This also shows us that the Redmi K30 Pro is going to be a real competitor to the likes of OnePlus 8 series and might turn out to be the real “flagship killer” of 2020 if things go well. Following the Redmi heritage, we expect it to be one of the most affordable 5G phones available, if not the cheapest.
