Vivo V19 Indian Launch Set for March 26, to Come with SD 712 SoC, 6 Cameras

After officially teasing the device yesterday, Vivo has now finally revealed the official launch date for its upcoming Vivo V19 smartphone. Vivo V19 is going to be a mid-range device with specifications such as in-display fingerprint sensor and Snapdragon 712 chipset. For those who’re unaware, the device has already made its way to the Indonesian market. Well, we now know the Indian launch date as well.

Vivo India has recently posted a teaser on its official Twitter handle revealing the launch date for the device. As per the poster, the device will see its official unveiling on March 26. We’re expecting the company to silently launch the device due to the coronavirus outbreak. The post also makes use of a hashtag PerfectShotPerfectMoment. The company is clearly teasing the camera capabilities of the device.

Now coming to the Indian pricing, we’re speculating the device to come with INR 24,990 price tag. Vivo V19 is going to succeed the previous-gen Vivo V17 which arrived with a price of INR 22,990. Coming to the color option, Vivo V19 is expected to arrive in two options – Mystic Silver and Piano Black.

Now, Vivo V19 will come with some design and hardware changes in the Indian market. The device will feature the same 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it will run on the Snapdragon 712 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB options. In terms of optics, we’re looking at a quad-camera module on the back. It will consist of 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor.

For selfies, there is a dual 32MP+8MP camera module housed inside the punch-hole cutout design. All of these are backed by a 4,500mAh battery packed inside with the fast charging 2.0 support. On the software front, we’re looking at Android 10 based FunTouch OS.
