This Monday Microsoft unveiled the specifications for the Xbox Series X, the next-generation console that will be launched before the end of the year. The company took the opportunity to also reveal the new controller of the new console.
The new Xbox Wireless Controller will arrive with a design that is very familiar to us, with improvements that promise to bring more comfort to the user. This is because it will be more adaptable for smaller hands, and the sensitivity of the keys will also have been improved.
The new D-pad button for the “arrows” is very similar to what we already saw in the Elite version of the Xbox controllers. We are talking about a deeper grip, making it easier to control the thumb.
In the new controller, we can count, as expected on wireless connectivity. In addition, it has a USB-C port and has support for the Xbox One, PC, Android and iOS devices.
Users can count on a controller that remembers which equipment is connected, so that the switch between devices is faster. In addition, it will make use of low power Bluetooth.
With regard to the price of this controller, for now it is unknown. These are information that we should only know when the console is officially presented, towards the end of the year.
