Huawei new true wireless headset may debut with the P40 series

Huawei has applied for a patent for a new true wireless headset from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The patent picture shows that the new headset design is similar to Samsung Galaxy Buds + and uses an in-ear design. As shown, the Huawei TWS headset will have a pod-like design similar to Samsung Galaxy Buds. There are some small parts inside the headset, which may be the charging indicator and the distance sensor. The headset may come with a small charging case similar to the Galaxy Buds.

The upcoming Huawei headset also has a flat surface that looks like it supports touch controls to control music or adjust the volume. According to reports, this headset may be released simultaneously with the Huawei P40 series on March 26.

Gizchina News of the week

Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, is not really into the headset business although it has the Freebuds lineup. However, many of its users trust the company to do well if it decides to make headsets. Unfortunately, this is about what we know regarding the Huawei headset in the patent. This is only a patent filing and there is no guarantee that it will hit the market.

Even the speculation of its arrival with the Huawei P40 series on March 26 is most unlikely. If the launch of this device is close, we should be seeing certifications by now and not patents. Nevertheless, anything is possible and we will have to keep our fingers crossed to see what happens. We will update you as events unfold.
