Vivo is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone dubbed Vivo S6 5G soon. Unfortunately, the company didn’t close any detail regarding the release date. However, it decided to finally show a teaser image today. The image is enough to give us a glimpse of the upcoming handset.
The picture shows us the bottom of the S6 5G. It serves as a house for the USB-C that is placed along with the speaker grille, microphone, and SIM card slot. There’s no signal of a 3.5mm analog port, at least not in the bottom. There’s no much information about the smartphone yet. Moreover, the image itself isn’t enough to make everything clear. It reveals a blue-purple gradient, but we also now that more colorways will appear.
Gizchina News of the week
There’s not much to glean from the image, but we now know the S6 5G will come in a blue-purple gradient. However, there will likely be more colorways available than the one we are looking at right now. We expect to see more information popping out in the coming days.
We expect this new smartphone to be a premium mid-range device so it might come with either Snapdragon 765G or Mediatek’s Dimensity 1000 for seamless 5G connectivity. The Vivo S6 5G will be just one of the company’s steps to introduce more 5G and popularize them in the market. According to a report, Vivo expects 5G phones to cost around $240 until the end of the year.
