Back in February, Samsung took the wraps off its brand new flagship series along with its second foldable phone – The Galaxy Z Flip. Also in the last month, the company released the foldable flip phone in India available in Mirror Black and Mirror Purple colors. Now, the Korean firm confirmed that starting March 20, it will be available for purchase in Mirror Gold as well.
The Galaxy Z Flip is priced at INR109,999 ($1,465/€1,355) in India and can be purchased through the company’s official Indian site and retail stores across the country. The foldable device packs last year’s Snapdragon 855+ SoC and comes paired with 8GB of RAM. It also has 256GB of storage onboard and boasts two AMOLED displays. The first with 6.7-inch and FHD+ resolution, the second panel has 1.1-inch and 3oox112 pixel resolution.

The smartphone draws power from a moderate 3,300mAh battery and packs three cameras. There’s a dual 12MP module on the outside and a 10MP selfie shooter. These specifications may not sound impressive if we compare it with a 2020 flagship. However, it allowed Samsung to bring a foldable handset to a lower price point.
Let’s see if the Mirror Gold Edition will boost the sales of this handset in the Indian market. It may be a niche smartphone, but its versatility and form factor allows you to use it as a standard smartphone.
