While Chinese smartphones have taken centre stage in the past couple of chaotic months, it is now time for old warhorse Nokia to once again strut its stuff in front of the global audience. The HMD Global-backed brand has a launch event scheduled for 10:00 PM IST (4:30 pm GMT) and it will be broadcasted live on Youtube. Possible handsets include the Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, and Nokia 1.3.

While Nokia hasn’t officially declared the number of devices that could launch today, speculation and leaks point to at least three models. The Nokia 8.3 5G is surely the most high-end of them and the only one with 5G. Buzz is that it could either be powered by a Snapdragon 765 or optimistically speaking, a Snapdragon 765 SoC. The rear camera is expected to be a 64MP sensor and the display is supposed to be a 6.2-inch IPS LCD panel powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
The Nokia 5.3 (TA-1234) is obviously a mid-ranger and the handset has recently appeared on Geekbench and the listing confirmed the “Captain America” codename with a Snapdragon 660/665 processor. It is also expected to have a quad-camera setup with a starting 3GB of RAM.
Apart from these two handsets, we could also see the Nokia 1.3 which would be a Nokia 1 successor. Other two handsets that are being expected come from the feature phone category such as the Nokia 400 4G and the Nokia 5310 2020.
