Realme’s journey to the top-tier of the Indian smartphone market has been astounding, to say the least. The once OPPO-sub-brand has outgrown its parent and is now seen as the arch-rival to the current number one – Xiaomi. Realme has been hyper-active in launching new devices, speaking of which, the company has just announced a new series. The series called – Narzo – for unknown reasons, is aimed at Gen Z that want power and style at the same time, hints a couple of teasers on Twitter.

Gizchina News of the week
Realme had trademarked the “Narzo” nomenclature ahead of time and it seems the series will also go global soon as it has been trademarked in a number of other regions. Word around town is that the series is being prepped to compete with the new POCO X series. Although, it is to be noted that Realme already has an X series that serves the same purpose. It is also being said that there will be two new devices in the series initially.
While many things remain unconfirmed right now regarding the Realme Narzo series, one thing’s for sure. The mid-range smartphone segment of India will get spoilt for choices to an unknown extent. There will be confusion from the general consumer’s perspective as well, but for those who can make informed decision, there is not a better time to buy a phone. Since the series has already been teased, we expect it to launch in the coming weeks.
