A new Start menu, a new File Explorer, rounded corners for the whole interface and a general redesign: here is the future of Windows 10, shown by Microsoft.
Microsoft shows the future of Windows 10
In a video published by Panos Panay to celebrate the recent milestone of one billion active Windows 10 devices, the company showed us how the operating system user interface will evolve. In particular, the video shows a general redesign of the Windows 10 UI, starting from the Start menu. The new colorless tile design that Microsoft is testing internally seems confirmed.
Also, there is a new for File Explorer. In the video, we have a clearer idea of the style that Microsoft is adopting in redesigning one of the most important components of Windows. The app actually looks like an evolution of the primordial version that is running in the Windows 10X Insider builds.
