The cancellation of mass events these days has become the norm, so it is not surprising that today, under quarantine conditions, ZTE held a press conference online. It was for the announcement of the ZTE Axon 11, that arrives with the slogan “the first 5G video smartphone.” It is not difficult to understand that the company identifies two strengths of the new product: video recording and support for fifth-generation networks.
The company did not invent something new in the design of the smartphone, and rely on what it is available on the market. They proposed a slightly curved display, tempered glass front and rear, a frontal panel with a small round notch in the center of the upper part of the screen and a square block for the main rear camera. The case thickness is only 7.9 mm, it weighs 168 grams and the company declares that it is the lightest 5G smartphone on the market.
