The smartphone industry is eagerly waiting for the Huawei P40 Pro to be launched today. This is not accidental. In the past 2-3 years, Huawei has proven its strength of making an outstanding smartphone even without using Qualcomm’s chips and Google services. In some sense, Huawei is the best alternative to Android. But we should not forget about its sub-brand, Honor. The latter takes all the best from Huawei, adds its own ‘zest’ and makes tough competition not only to the other top brands but to Huawei as well. In this sense, the Honor 30 is another much-anticipated model. And today, we got the spotted photos of the Pro variant.
Gizchina News of the week
From the pictures released by the bloggers, we can see that the Honor 30 Pro will use a curved screen design with a larger overall curvature. The front uses a dual-hole full-screen design. The device is also equipped with a security shell that supports dual-card dual-standby. However, from the photos, we can judge that the overall design of the device has many things in common with that of the Huawei P40 Pro.
Currently, there is less information about the Honor 30 Pro. It is expected that it will sport the Kirin 990 / Kirin 820 5G chip. The latter uses Huawei’s self-developed DaVinci architecture NPU, which is built by the 7nm process. And NPU have been fully upgraded to support Kirin Gaming+ technology. Though Honor models do not compete with Huawei’s Mate and P series models in terms of photography, we are expecting this phone to sport a multi-camera.
