HMD Global, the company behind Nokia revival, has been conquering the title of the best company when it comes to providing Android updates. Today, the company is adding one more device to the list of Android 10-running phones – the Nokia 7.2. Interestingly enough, the device was absent from the company’s original Android 10 update schedule. That doesn’t mean that an update for it wasn’t being planned since the new update schedule, released some weeks ago, proved that the device would get Google’s latest Android version.

Gizchina News of the week
The new update is coming amidst all the problems that the company reported in the face of the COVID-19 crisis. As any Android 10 release, you can expect all the goodies like System-Wide Dark Mode, Smart Replies, Navigation System and Advanced Permission Controls. Most of Nokia smartphones are part of the Android One program, and the Nokia 7.2 isn’t an exception. Moreover, it also includes the March 2020 security patch.
Nokia 7.2 specifications
Worth noting that the Nokia 7.2 still is a relatively new smartphone. It boasts Snapdragon 660 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset boasts a 6.3-inch FHD+ display complete with a waterdrop notch. On the back, it includes a triple camera array comprising 48MP + 8MP + 5MP modules. The handset draws power from a 3,500mAh battery with 10W fast-charging.
The new update weighs in at 1.57GB. It’s just the first major update to come for this smartphone. Since it’s part of Android One program, we believe that it still has granted one of more update to Android 11.
