Meizu 17 gets 3C certification – supports 30W fast charge

Meizu 17
Chinese manufacturer, Meizu, will release its latest flagship smartphone, Meizu 17, sometime this month. We have seen so many renders and “real images” of this device with conflicting designs. However, this will be Meizu’s first 5G phone and the company also improves the charging capacity. Recall that the Meizu 16s Pro comes with a 24W mCharge capacity. However, Meizu 17 will arrive with a 30W charger according to the 3C database. This is quite important for the smartphone because 5G requires some upgrade to battery capacity.

On the 3C database, Meizu 17 comes with model number M081Q and the listing shows that this device supports 5G. As for the charger, it comes with model number UP1030 and also supports a maximum charging rate of 30W.

There are speculations that we will have two smartphones – Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro. It could also be that the multiple designs so far point to these devices. Internally, Meizu 17’s codename is M2081 while the Pro model is M2091.
