Samsung has officially responded today that its Exynos 990 processor is as good as the Snapdragon 865. The company says that the Galaxy S20 series in both processors deliver the same performance level in all real-life scenarios.
Samsung is the only company in the smartphone industry that proposes its flagship devices in two processors. The company has a strong R&D and production capabilities for mobile phone processors, but its own Exynos 990 SoC used on the Galaxy S20 is not rated as good as Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 according to benchmark results, tests of users and even reviewers.
Regarding this situation, Samsung has contacted the colleagues from Sammobile website. They said that the Exynos990 and the Snapdragon 865 processors have similar performance.
