New screenshots of iOS 14 leaked on social media yesterday have revealed that Apple could be bringing more customization options to its operating system. Specifically speaking, the wallpaper settings menu is undergoing a change with the addition of a “Collections” tab, revealed @DongleBookPro. Moreover, iOS 13 wallpapers will also be kept in a separate tab and a third category “Classic Stripes” is also seen in the screenshots. The new organized layout should be a very welcome change as far as freedom to choose new wallpapers is concerned.
The Collections tab could have a library of personally-clicked photos that can be used as wallpapers, something that has been sorely missed on iOS. Also, the screenshot mentions a new “Home Screen Appearance” option which will allows users to alter the appearance of only the home screen. It is similar to the watch face settings found on the Apple Watch app.
