Xiaomi is slowly, but upgrading its smartphone Android 10 and MIUI 11. While the company has a pretty established philosophy of bringing feature updates through MIUI versions and not Android versions, it still necessary to pull newer versions of Google OS to keep customers satisfied. After all, no one wants to have an outdated phone. Today, the company is rolling out the Android 10-based MIUI 11 update for two devices from 2018 – the Mi Max 3 and Mi 8 Lite.

This update already rolled out in China, and now it is reaching the global units. The Mi Max 3 update comes with a v.11.0.1.0 QEDMIXM serial and will reach users via OTA. Of course, those who aren’t happy with the waiting times can head to the Xiaomi community website and download the 1.8GB package. The Mi 8 Lite Android 10 update bears MIUI 11 v.11.0.1.QDTMIXM and it’s based on Android 10. The security patch is dated February 2020. The update is rolling out via OTA and the whole package is 2.4GB in size.
On this update, you can find all the set of goodies introduced with MIUI 11 including upgraded visuals. It also brings system-wide Dark mode and color schemes. Talking about Dark Mode, since it is now based on Android 10 your settings will be integrated with several apps, including Google ones.
