The new high-end panel features intense brightness with a 1,000 nits peak and offers support for HDR. The Smart TV comes with the company’s proprietary HongMeng OS. Interestingly, the TV introduces a new pop-up camera mechanism that comprises a 24MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It can be used for video calls and is powered by the HiSilicon Hi83559C chip. The chipset features AI support thanks to the NPU. This camera is capable of recognizing gestures, thus allowing users to control and activate features with it. The sound experience is powered by 14 speakers with 75W output.

Besides the Hi83559C chip, the new smart TV also boasts a custom Hongu 898 chip. This particular chip is present to optimize the overall image quality of the OLED screen. Therefore users will enjoy a crispy image that is adjusted dynamically by the TV hardware. Since we’re talking about hardware, the new Huawei OLED TV Vision X65 features 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

Did this new smart TV get your interest? Well, we hate to bury your hopes, but at least for now, it will remain exclusive for the Chinese market. There the company is asking CNY 24,999 (~$3,500). Those residing in China can pre-order TV starting today. However, shipments will start on April 26. Along with the new X65 panel, Huawei also announced a new variant of its old Vision TV V55i. That one retails at CNY 3,799 ($540) which’s quite cheap in comparison to the newer model.
