Along with the announcement of Huawei P40 series last month, the Chinese giant introduced a new version of its proprietary Android skin – EMUI. The new firmware version is an incremental update bearing EMUI 10.1 moniker with some new features and add-ons. The company promised to deliver this update to several Huawei and Honor smartphones. After reaching the last year’s Huawei P30 series, the same treatment is coming for the Huawei Mate 30 and 30 Pro smartphones.
The Mate 30 Pro beta started to roll out for eligible phones yesterday bearing the 10.1.0.119 build number. It includes some nice features such as the revamped Multi-Window feature. There are new fingerprint scanning animations as well. Today, the update is reaching the owners of the vanilla Mate 30 phones. Of course, the beta is only reaching users who are signed on the Huawei Club app. Moreover, it’s necessary to be running EMUI 10.0 to be eligible for this update.
