Samsung Galaxy A71 camera gets an average score on DxOMark

In January of this year, the sales of the Samsung Galaxy A71 smartphone has started in the global markets. While the device has a four-module camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor, DxOMark experts decided to check how really good such a camera is.

Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy A71 camera with four sensors failed the test. Experts rated it only 84 points. To make it clear: the first place in the DxOMark ranking is held by the Huawei P40 Pro with 128 points. Above the A71, we even find last year’s Samsung Galaxy A50.

Experts noted that they did not expect good results from a mid-range Samsung smartphone. The device’s camera can produce good shots in good light, take images with a high dynamic range and rich colors. However, the pictures are poorly detailed and the low light autofocus is constantly confused. In addition, the quality of night photos is just below average.
