Xiaomi is pushing back the Android 10 update for the Mi A3 for the third time. Based on this we can state that the Android One Xiaomi Mi A3 is one of the buggies phones in the company’s recent history. While the company is capable of publishing several MIUI 11 updates for a myriad of smartphones, the development team doesn’t seem to be very successful with Vanilla Android One. The Mi A3 is a controversial phone since its launch, and now will be remembered due to its software.

The phone came back in the last year as an international version of Mi CC9e. It was heavily criticized due to its HD display that was a downgrade over previous generations. Xiaomi used this AMOLED display with lower resolution to fit the in-display fingerprint technology without increasing the price. However, the price still wasn’t very impressive in some markets. The handset came with Android One which ensures two years of major Android updates and monthly security patch. However, Xiaomi is yet to provide a bug-free Android 10 update. It’s an odd case, after all, many Xiaomi phone with heavily-skinned MIUI 11 Android 10 update is rolling out.
