OnePlus Launcher has a whole new app switcher

With the latest update of the OnePlus Launcher to version 4.4.2, OnePlus brings a new overview for the apps switcher. The apps icons now move from the top to the bottom of the screen. You can now access the options for the split-screen etc. by pressing and holding instead of the button in the top right corner. The button – which was not exactly self-explanatory in the past – for closing all apps has also been revised.

In the app switcher, you still have the option to access the contextual menu options just long press on the app card and it will display the usual menu to access the app setting menu or to display the multi-window view etc.

The new design offers a much cleaner overview and a more symmetrical look. For these new changes to take effect, you’ll need to update the OnePlus Launcher to version 4.4.2. The update will be available on the Play Store soon. For now, you can download it from here (link).

It is worth to mention that OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 8 series in an online event tomorrow (April 14). However, just before the official release of the OP8 series, we have a new leak that shows what you get if you purchase this smartphone. The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a rich “pop-up package”.

Recall that the OP8 Pro will include a new green color option. In addition, to the phone, the “pop-up package” contains three protective covers. It has a transparent, blue and black protective case. Furthermore, the new OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z hanging headphone is also in the package. However, there is no 30W wireless charging pad for the OnePlus 8 Pro, which is disappointing. There are reports that the starting price of the OnePlus 8 Pro is $999.
