OnePlus 8 series “limited release” sells out in ten minutes

OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro

A few days ago, Chinese manufacturing giant, OnePlus, officially announced the OnePlus 8 series. It appears that OnePlus did a test run of the OP8 series sales by organizing a “limited release” sales. This sale lasted for 10 minutes before all colour variants and storage options for both the OnePlus 8 and OP8 Pro sold out. Although this looks like a quick sale, it is quite slow considering that flagships from some manufacturers sell out in seconds. Also, this is a “limited release” thus it is probable that the company sold only a few units. The first full-scale sales of the OnePlus 8 series will take place in about two weeks. These smartphones will be available via OnePlus online store, T-Mobile and Verizon.

Recall that OnePlus is facing huge criticism for its pricing of the OnePlus 8 series. The prices are not higher than what we have in the market, but many feel that OnePlus has increased its pricing structure. See the prices of the OnePlus 8 series below
