The OnePlus Z could be announced in a few hours in China

OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro phones to the world last Tuesday, but the announcement of these two phones for the Chinese market will be held tomorrow, Friday, April 17. And while everyone believed that this event would include the announcement of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro phones along with the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z wireless earphones, the Chinese company decided to tease the arrival of a new mysterious product.

The OnePlus Z could be announced in a few hours in China

Once we heard that, we thought this product could be the OnePlus Z also known as OnePlus 8 Lite. However, announcing this phone in China and not saying anything at the global advertising event could mean two things.

The first thing is that OnePlus is suffering from a supply shortage due to the Coronavirus and decided to launch the phone in China first, and the second thing is that the OnePlus Z phone will remain exclusive for China. And given the teaser posted on Weibo, we’re sure it’s the phone we’re talking about here.

The phone is expected to arrive with a MediaTek Dimension 1000 processor, a 6.4-inch screen that has a refresh rate of 90Hz. Some believe that it will be the spiritual heir of the OnePlus X phone, but we will make sure of everything tomorrow, as soon as the phone sees the light of day.
