Xiaomi MIUI theme store adds a new interest screen section

Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is constantly working on its customized Android system, MIUI. According to recent reports from users, Xiaomi MIUI theme wallpaper currently has a closed beta update. This update simply adds an interest screen section to provide a variety of cool display patterns. The beta is available for select users on models that support interest screen display. When MIUI 11 was officially released in September last year, Xiaomi also announced that the MIUI theme is completely free. Yes, the MIUI theme is free but there are a few designs that come with copyright content.

According to reports, Xiaomi MIUI upcoming UI, MIUI 12, will come with better system animation. Furthermore, it will also optimize its current high refresh rate and, the entire system will greatly improve in fluency.

Xiaomi MIUI 12 UI will come with new designs

In other news, recent leaks show that Xiaomi MIUI upcoming UI will come with some new designs. A series of screenshots from XDA Developers shows a first look at the changes in Xiaomi’s upcoming MIUI UI. From the screenshots, we can see that MIUI makes changes with a few tweaks in the appearance of some features. The screenshots show refresh rate, focus mode, screen time and advance settings. Looking at the new interface, you will observe that it is generally darker than the old. The grey interface of the current system is not in the screenshots. It appears that Xiaomi is also working on a system-wide dark mode for its latest system.

A few days ago, we got also information on the “first features” of the MIUI 12 system. These features include

  • MIUI 12 new navigation bar as well as new gestures
  • New multitasking feature with animations
  • New camera UI
