Huawei’s Nova 7 series of smartphones is the next big premium series coming up from the house of Huawei. And although the series is all over the Chinese blogosphere, the latest leaks show live images and confirms the presence of three phones- Huawei Nova 7, Nova 7 SE and Nova 7 Pro.
The images shown below flaunt the specifications of all the three models and the phones look gorgeous. Beginning with the top end of the series, we have the Nova 7 Pro 5G with a 6.5-inch FHD+(2400×1800) OLED curved display and a dual punch-hole cutout for the cameras. The picture shows the phone will have 160.36 x 73.74 x 7.98mm dimensions and a weight of 178g.
Under the hood, it is powered by the latest kirin 985 SoC. One the back we have a rectangular cutout for the optics that include a 64MP f/1.8 primary camera, an 8MP f/3.4 periscope camera with OIS, an 8MP Ultra-wide and a 2MP Macro camera. On the front, we have a 32MP primary and an 8MP Ultra-wide camera for selfies. The phone will have two variants – 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage with a slot for expansion.

The Nova 7, on the other hand, has the same SoC as the Pro version and a 6.53-inch FHD+(2400×1800) OLED flat display with a single cutout that has a 32MP f/2.0 for selfies. The dimensions, however, are different with 160.64 x 73.33 x 7.96mm with a weight of 180g. On the back, we have the same cutout with the same optics as the Pro model except an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto replaces the Periscope lens. The Nova 7 variants include 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB storage.
The last entrant on the series, the Nova 7SE has slightly toned down specs, with a 6.5-inch FHD+(2400×1800) LCD display with a single cutout for a 16MP selfie camera and 64MP rear camera. It is powered by the Kirin 820 SOC. It weighs 189g with dimensions of 162.31 x 75.0 x 8.58mm. Storage variants include a 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
All the phones will have support for 5G connectivity however the supported bands are yet to be known. The Nova 7 series have the same 4000mAh battery powering all the phones with 40W fast charging support and runs on Emui 10.1 based on Android 10.
The launch of the series is on April 23.
