However, in a sudden twist of fates, he’s now leaving the company due to health issues. Therefore, Oppo announced today Liu Li as the new President of Global Marketing. Worth noting, that Li was the company’s Chief Marketing Officer in China.

Mr. Shen explained his situation of Weibo, he will now leave the company to focus on his health. Liu will continue his work to further expand the company’s popularity outside of China. He was the person behind the Find lineup, as well as Real and Ulike phone families. So, we can say that he was behind some successful projects. At least, when it comes to the Oppo Find X2 series, we’re in the middle of its global expansion with new devices like the Oppo Find X2 Neo and Lite becoming available in Europe.
Now, Liu will keep the company’s current plans with the Find X2 series and will have to surpass all the current challenges imposed by COVID-19. For now, Canalys’ analyst, Jia Mo believes that the company’s major focus won’t be in the global markets. According to him, Oppo and other smartphone makers will be focusing in China, where the disease is nearly controlled. Considering that the sales flow is uncertain in Europe and India, Chinese companies need to ensure a good flow of sales in the domestic market.
