HMD is among the best companies when it comes to providing faster Android updates. The company already has released several Android 10 updates for older and newer devices. Now, Nokia 2.3 is getting the same treatment. Of course, the fact that most of Nokia devices are part of Android One devices with vanilla Android clearly helps and ensures that an OEM needs to deploy two-year of major Android updates. Even HMD is aware of the fact that it sits as one of the best in deploying Android releases. The company quoted an analyst in Counterpoint research that revealed that the Finnish company’s smartphones are the fastest in getting newer Android releases. The Nokia 2.3 now is getting the aforementioned update complete with Family Link and Focus Mode, both are Nokia-exclusive features.
Besides the Nokia-proprietary features, the Nokia 2.3 is also getting System-Wide Dark Mode, revamped permission controls, and more. As you may expect, the Android 10 update is rolling out in batches. That means that you can either get in a couple of hours or after a few days. You can always try to force check this update through the Settings >> update menu.
