Xiaomi rolls out the fourth Android 10 for Mi A3 hoping that it’s the last one

The Android One was introduced Google as an initiative to introduce the stock Android and all the benefits of it to the masses. Now, there are several brands that are part of the Android One program. HMD is probably the most notable one since all its smartphones come as Android One devices. However, the Xiaomi Mi A1 probably was the most notable smartphone to achieve popularity with Android One. After the original device, Xiaomi already released the second generation and the Third Generation of Mi A-series. The latest entry is the Mi A3, and contrary to what Android One proposes, the handset is struggling to get stable Android 10.

While several Xiaomi smartphones received stable Android 10-based MIUI updates, the most recent device to come with vanilla Android is still waiting for a proper final release. The handset already received three buggy firmware updates that forced the company to roll back it for three consecutive times. Now, the company is rolling out the fourth Android 10 update, and everyone hopes that this is the last one.

The new firmware bears V11.0.14.0.QFQMIXM version will hit Mi A3 units via OTA. The update will roll out gradually. This way, Xiaomi can control it if another critical bug appears. You’ll need some patience if the update does not appear immediately for you. According to the changelog, some obsolete features but it fails to mention which features. One notable bugfix is meant for the fingerprint scanner.

As we said before, let’s hope that this will be the last and final update for Android 10. After all, the owners of the Mi A3 deserve it after several months of wait.
