All OnePlus 8 Models Are Out Of Stock: Popularity Exceeded Expectations

Just recently, the new-gen OnePlus 8 series flagship smartphones have been announced at a price of 3,999 yuan ($565). After the first sale, the entire network’s sales in one minute exceeded 100 million yuan ($14.12 million). In recent days, OnePlus Technology CEO Liu Zuohu revealed on Weibo that the higher version of the phone with a price of nearly 6,000 yuan ($847) is still in short supply. However, we didn’t expect that today there would be an announcement that all models from this series are already out of stock.

Liu Zuohu posted on Weibo, ‘I’m very sorry! I apologize to all users who are concerned about the OP8 series. Just received the news from the sale: All OnePlus 8 series models are out of stock on all e-commerce platforms! Moreover, the 8 Pro with the pricing of nearly 6,000 yuan is still our most sought-after model. And the degree of popularity is far beyond our expectations.’

‘In addition, we have urgently adjusted the production schedule, moved the original overseas production capacity as much as possible to the domestic, and ensured that domestic users have priority to buy our OnePlus 8 series new products! Thank you for your support and understanding, we will resume sales supply as soon as possible.’

In terms of configuration, the OnePlus 8 series comes with the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. Thus, it supports dual-mode 5G networks. The OnePlus 8 sports a 6.55-inch curved single-hole AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. And the OP8 Pro uses a 6.78-inch single-hole AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. In terms of price, the OnePlus 8 starts at 3,999 yuan, and OP8 Pro starts at 5,399 yuan.
