Huawei’s latest EMUI system update arrived with the Huawei P40 series sometime last month. The latest EMUI 10.1 update is based on Android 10 and a number of Huawei devices already have thus update (closed beta update). However, at the launch event of the Huawei nova 7 series yesterday, the company officially announced the list of devices to get this update. The complete list of eligible devices has 22 smartphones.

As of now, the list does not contain Honor’s devices to get the update. This is because the launch event is for a Huawei phone thus it concentrated on Huawei devices to get the update. Nevertheless, with Huawei’s list out, Honor will release its own list soon. I guess we know that Honor devices come with Magic UI and the EMUI 10.1 is the same as Magic UI 3.1 with a few tweaks.
Of course, most of the devices on the list above is already part of the EMUI 10.1 closed beta update. However, with this list now public, beta builds will become available soon. Stable versions will follow up a few weeks later. Unfortunately, this list only refers to the Chinese versions of these smartphones. However, we expect the company to release the update to global users pretty soon.
