Unfortunately, the new OnePlus 8 series has the same screen green-tint problem as the Galaxy S20 Ultra. OnePlus forums are full of reports on that but it seems that OnePlus has it all under control. Fortunately, OnePlus new phones have quickly received an update that fixes the problem.
The OxygenOS 10.5.5 update for OnePlus 8 Pro and the 10.5.4 update for OnePlus 8 are launched. The list of changes in the update for OnePlus 8 Pro includes greater touch sensitivity at the edges of the screen and optimization of some effects. This update should address the green tint issue we mentioned a few days ago.
After installing OxygenOS 10.5.5, device owners will have “better system stability”. The update also has some new features for the camera system, as it improves white balance and focus accuracy in low light environments; it also improves the smoothness and stability of the camera and the user interface. The device’s Wi-Fi and mobile network connectivity is also improved by the update.
The upgrade to OnePlus 8 includes correction of the green tint on the screen, improved system stability alongside camera and connectivity improvements.
