This year, we’re seeing the importance of gaming smartphones for the overall market. After all, they’re behind the race for high refresh-rate displays, the best possible hardware, and fast-charging technology. The Black Shark 3 is Xiaomi’s current bet for the gaming smartphone scenario, however, the newer device does not mean that the company will leave behind those that came before. Today, in another show of commitment the company announced Android 10 arrival for Black Shark 2 through the Black Shark’s exclusive JOYUI11 interface.

Gizchina News of the week
Redmi, Poco, and Black Shark are all sub-brands in Xiaomi’s conglomerate. However, only the leaves MIUI in favor of an own custom skin dubbed JOYUI. This particular interface comes with several gaming-centric features and works to ensure that every part of Black Shark software is being efficiently used. Today, the company announced the start of the Android 10 update program. The first wave of Black Shark 2 smartphones will start to receive this update from April 30. If no critical bug appears during this first wave, then a broader release will reach all devices starting May 6.
The new update brings new themes for the interface, Mi Share, Shark Space 3.0, and more. If you’re impatient and can’t wait for the OTA update, head over to the source link where you will find instructions on how to manually install this update in your Black Shark 2.
