Meizu 17 goes up for pre-order on JD.com

Meizu’s upcoming 5G flagship, the Meizu 17, has been put up for pre-booking in China recently. The blind order also includes complimentary headphones by Meizu for those who pre-book the phone before launch.

Going into the details, a limited quantity of the device was up for pre-booking for CNY100 on JD.com at 10:00 AM Chinese Standard time and the phone was sold out in minutes.Ā 

If we recall, the Meizu 17 has been in leaks for quite a while. Also, much of the spec-sheet has been confirmed earlier and the posters on JD.com confirm the same. The phone will come with a 90HZ AMOLED with a single punch-hole screen. The Meizu 17 will also have a special ā€œazureā€ colour scheme that will be a limited edition.

Ā Qualcomm snapdragon 865 5GĀ  with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS3.1 storage. In addition to this, the poster says that Meizu has optimized 1000+ scenarios for bringing unprecedented 5G connectivity with 64% less power consumption than ever before.Ā  The optics include a quad-camera setup with a primary 64MP Sony imx686 sensor. There is a big circular flashlight at the centre. The other sensors are yet to be known.

The phone will have a 4500mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. It is also expected that Meizu will launch a ā€œProā€ version of the Meizu 17. The poster includes a launch date of May 8 at 14.30 Local time and the shipping of the phone is expected to begin from May 11. The users who blindly pre-book the device will have a pre-order benefit of getting a Meizuā€™s HiFi HD60 headphones as a complimentary gift.
