Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Appears on BIS Listing, Might Launch Soon

Gizchina News of the week

A tipster who goes by the name Mukul Sharma has managed to spot the device on the BIS certification website. As per his tweet, the device has bagged the BIS certification with the model number M2003J15SI. Sadly, the listing doesn’t talk about anything else apart from the model number of the phone.

With the appearance of the phone on BIS listing, it looks like the Redmi Note 9 series is inching closer to the Indian launch. At the moment, the country is underdoing lockdown due to coronavirus outbreak. We might see the Chinese smartphone maker launching the lineup once the lockdown is lifted. Xiaomi India is also expected to bring its flagship Mi 10 series in the country. We might see the launch of both the lineup happening at the same time.
