Xiaomi Mi Band 4 users will receive a new firmware update over the next few days. The new update bears V1.0.9.48 software version and perhaps the most notable feature involves the ability to share your heart rate data with other devices or applications. The update also brings re-designed display settings in the app on the phone and allows you to rate watch faces in the store.

Interestingly enough, heart rate sharing isn’t something unique to Mi Band 4. This particular feature was available in the Mi Band 3. However, the company decided to remove it from the Mi Band 4 for unspecified reasons. Thankfully, users can now enjoy this particular feature that comes to offer extended use for health and fitness-related usage. After all, Mi Fit may not be your cup of tea, so you can explore your app store to decide which application fits your needs. Users in iOS will be able to integrate the band with Apple Health.
Worth noting that this update is currently rolling out in batches. Users in India and Vietnam are already receiving it. So we expect the rollout to be gradually expanded to more regions and countries in the coming days. Make sure to update the Mi Fit app on the App Store or Google Play Store.
