Realme 6 Pro to Launch in Europe on May 5, Online Event Details Revealed

A couple of weeks ago, Realme launched its sixth iteration budget devices namely Realme 6 and Realme 6i. Sadly, the company didn’t reveal the Pro variant of the phone. Well, that changes now, since Realme has now scheduled an online event on May 5. The online event will kickstart at 10:00 AM (GMT +2) and will reveal the Realme 6 Pro smartphone.

If you’re interested in streaming the broadcast, then you can subscribe for the launch event. New registrations can enter in the giveaway where they can win some free goodies. The company is teasing 20 pairs of Realme Buds 2, 10 pairs of Realme Buds Wireless and one 6 Pro device itself.

The event page of the device also reveals the key specifications of the Pro variant. We’re looking at 90Hz high refresh rate, 30W flash charge, dual selfie camera and 64MP primary rear camera lens.

Since Realme has already launched the 6 lineups in India, we already know what to expect from the Pro variant. Realme 6 Pro is equipped with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate panel and dual punch-hole cutout for selfie cameras. Under the hood, the device runs on Snapdragon 720G chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB onboard memory.

In terms of optics, there is a quad-camera module on the back having 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a 12MP telephoto shooter, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calling, we’re looking at 16MP primary sensor and 8MP ultrawide lens. Powered by 4,300 mAh battery, the device makes use of 30W fast charging support.

The phone runs on the latest Android 10 operating system with RealmeUI skin on top. For biometrics, there is a physical fingerprint sensor underneath the power button. Lastly, the phone comes in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB variants for $230, $245, and $260 respectively.
