Earlier this month, Oppo has taken the wraps off a new upper-mid-range smartphone dubbed Oppo A92s. It’s a new 5G smartphone from the company featuring MediaTek’s Dimensity 800 SoC. Now, it seems that the company is gearing up for another handset dubbed Oppo A92. It will be like a lesser variant of the A92s. Today, a new leaked render was shared by the reliable leakster, Evan Blass. It reveals the Oppo A92 in a glorious Aurora Purple color finish.
Gizchina News of the week
This render shows the smartphone in all its glory. First of all, we have a 6.5-inch display with FHD+ resolution. It’s an LCD panel with top-left aligned punch-hole housing a 16MP selfie shooter. On the back, we have the stunning Aurora Purple Gradient finish. It also packs a Quad-Camera setup housed in the 2020 usual rectangular setup. Instead of a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, we have a side-mounted one placed on the right side. On the left side, we have the power button and volume rockers.
According to reports, the handset packs the Snapdragon 665 chipset along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. It is likely coming with microSD card support as well. Software-wise it runs Android 10 OS with ColorOS 7.1 running atop. Last but not least, it draws power from a 5,000mAh battery.
We’ll probably know more about this handset in the coming weeks.
