Amazon India has silently listed the upcoming Huawei Y9s on its website. Right now, the handset is already available in a host of European and Asian countries. It’s a rebranded (global) Honor 9X Pro.
Amazon’s product page has all the specifications listed on the website along with posters and official renders. However, there is no launch date mentioned on the page. The phone seems to pack decent hardware but with no pricing mentioned, we will have to wait for the launch before commenting any further.
The phone is having a 6.59-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. It has a pop-up front camera meaning the phone has a FullView display for better content viewing.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Kirin 710F SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Optics include a triple-camera setup with a 48MP f/1.8 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor. The ultra-wide has a viewing angle of 120°. On the front, a pop-up mechanism holds a 16MP selfie camera.
The phone is backed up by a 4000mAh battery, with 10W charging via USB-C port. Additional features include a fingerprint sensor on the side embedded on to the power button, EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie. The phone also has a Micro-SD card for future storage expansion up to 512GB. It comes in Midnight Black colour.
With the product getting listed on Amazon, we can guess that the launch is not far but there is no official announcement from Huawei yet. Apart from this, the company is expected to launch the Huawei Watch GT 2e smartwatch and FreeBuds 3 earbuds alongside the Y9s in India.
